October 2023 update

It was great to see so many of you at our Pilot update webinars last month. A recorded session and the accompanying slide deck can be found here

Have your say in the Regional Council election

Club Presidents have received their unique link to vote on behalf of their club in our inaugural Regional Council election. They can now cast one preferential vote for each of the Regional Council positions they are eligible to vote for.

The Regional Council will represent and support clubs at a regional level, so it is important that clubs consider which candidate will be best for each role.

You can view the candidates for each Regional Council role here.

Voting opens on Tuesday 17 October 2023 and closes on Tuesday 31 October 2023 Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT), with votes to be submitted by Club Presidents.

Submit your Rotary Community Groups club preferences

Time is running out for clubs to submit their Rotary Community Groups (RCG) preferences. A key part of the Pilot, RCGs are expected to foster greater collaboration among clubs so they can work more effectively and at a larger scale than they could on their own.

Currently clubs, through their President, are being asked to complete a club preferences form by the end of October to help them be placed into a RCG. More information on RCGs can be found on the Creating Rotary Tomorrow website.

You can watch a video explaining what Rotary Community Groups are and how they will be formed here. We encourage all members to consider what opportunities your club might be able to take advantage of as part of Regionalisation.

The Pilot has Facebook

We have a Facebook page to share information about the Pilot more frequently. Like, follow and share our page with your club members to stay updated.
