Position Available: Social Media Lead

The Public Image and Partnerships Portfolio Committee is seeking a skilled social media expert to join the Committee as Social Media Lead.

Purpose of the role

The successful applicant will be responsible for shaping and enhancing Rotary’s online presence, and amplifying the impact of Rotary and its initiatives, while building a strong online community.

Skills and attributes

The role will require the successful candidate to:

  • Lead and coordinate our social strategies that influence membership and the public image of Rotary

  • Develop a strategy to get messages through to clubs and Rotary Community Leaders (RCLs)

  • Drive social media posts using a variety of platforms to promote Rotary and its work

  • Distribute social media content and strategies for publication to clubs

  • Assist in building social media skills and capabilities within Rotary clubs

  • Foster interaction and conversation with followers

  • Utilise social media analytics to measure performance and identify trends

  • Potentially engage a social media agency to ensure leading practice is achieved and that we are able to create engaging content that resonates with target audiences and showcases partnerships

The person will work closely with the staff at the Rotary International South Pacific and Philippines Office (RISPPO) and become an active member of the Public Image and Partnerships Portfolio Committee.
